My wife and I live in a very well-located apartment, two blocks from the tourist and residential district of Miraflores, the modern center of Lima. We offer two of the rooms in our apartment for rent.
We are happy to host visitors who come to us. I am an avid traveler, a Google Local Guide Level 8, a tour guide, and a chef, all of which helps our guests enjoy a more pleasant stay, rich in special experiences. We speak English, Papiamento, and Spanish, and we would love to share our experiences and stories with you and your group, and hear the ones you share with us.
Our interests include traveling, cooking, discussing world geopolitics, fixing the world with our big ideas (yes!), trying every kind and brand of olive oil and coffee we can, and collecting Peruvian banknotes and coins.
The rooms I offer are very spacious, fully furnished, with built-in wall-to-wall closets. The first room (Room 2) has ample space for three single beds, or for one double bed and one single bed; it has an en-suite bathroom. The second room (Room 1) can accommodate up to two single beds; the bathroom is right next door.
Very close by, within easy walking distance, is Huaca La Merced, an archaeological site of the Ichma culture, which flourished between 900 and 1470 AD. The dining room, living room, and common areas are also at your disposal.
The building has an outdoor area for exercise and relaxation. The apartment includes Wi-Fi, a washer/wringer, iron and ironing board, and hot and cold water in the bathrooms and kitchen. Please note that the washer/wringer is free for guests staying four nights or more. Only my wife or I will operate the machine. If you won't be staying four nights and still need laundry, we can help for a small fee of US$2 per kilogram.
