We live in a quiet residential neighborhood close to a university, several parks and a nice shopping center. A streetcar takes you directly to the center of the city and there is good public transit to every part of San Francisco.
We offer 3 bedrooms to international students and interns who will be staying for at least 30 days. The atmosphere is very friendly and the rule is "English-only" so everyone has a chance to improve their spoken English. The three guest bedrooms share one large, remodeled bathroom. We provide food for a self-serve breakfast as well as basic cooking supplies. Guests may use the kitchen for light cooking provided they clean up after themselves. Your room will be cleaned and fully supplied with bedding and towels before your arrival. During your stay, we don't go in the bedroom but provide cleaning supplies and equipment for you to use.
Your hosts are a retired nurse and a software engineer. For more than 20 years, we have been hosting exchange students and other international visitors from many countries. We enjoy introducing our guests to the beautiful city of San Francisco.
This is our largest room. It has a small sofa that opens to a second bed. It is in the back of the house so it is very quiet.
