The Main Street and Danforth is a smartly built student accommodation in Toronto that is fitted with amenities and facilities to make your life easy. This student housing is designed to cater to students' comfort and needs. Main & Danforth offers fully furnished non-en-suite rooms that are tailored to your specific requirements. The property proves to be an excellent home away from home for students. There are many universities around this area which makes it an ideal student accommodation for students. It is located at a short distance from many universities, such as Ryerson University and Niagara College Toronto, both of which are a 25-minute drive away. Toronto School of Management is also a 25-minute drive away, and the University of Toronto is a 31-minute drive away.

1. You need to pay a deposit of CA$500 to book a room with the property.


2. This is refundable at the end of your agreement less any deductions or pending charges.

Each room comes fully furnished with a comfortable double bed for your comfort and a good night’s sleep, along with a TV so that you can watch your favourite movies peacefully. The rooms at Main Street and Danforth have air conditioning for your sheer comfort, and you also get an iron. Train your body in the gym and chill and relax in the pool. Or you can stream anything without buffering on free high-speed Wi-Fi. Not only this, but you also get a streaming device and a garage. And the best part is that your water, electricity and heating bills will be included in the rent itself so you will not have to pay anything extra.

The property is located near many great restaurants, such as Fusion Kitchen, which serves scrumptious meals; Ghoroaa Restaurant, which is a Bangladeshi restaurant; and Beach Hill Smokehouse, which is a nice and cosy restaurant that serves barbecues. You can also visit BOCA Brunch On Cosburn Avenue, where you will get delicious breakfast and brunch. Your weekends will also be sorted as you find many pubs near Main Street and Danforth, such as The Wren and Godspeed Brewery, where you can indulge in a couple of drinks and dance the weekend away. For your morning coffee runs, you can visit Morning Parade Coffee Bar or even Starbucks. Michael Garron Hospital is also just a couple of mins' drive away. Toronto has something or the other to offer everyone. On weekends, You can also visit the famous tourist places in the city, such as the Royal Ontario Museum, CN Tower, Casa Loma, or even Ripley’s Aquarium of Canda.

Main Street and Danforth is in easy access to every mode of public transport in Toronto. Main St at Danforth Ave bus stop is just down the lane. Or you can catch a tram from Main Street Station, which is also just a minute away. To travel far away, you can reach Danforth train station within a 2-minute stroll. Walking to nearby places is also a cheap and healthy way to get around the city's beautiful streets. Main Street and Danforth is an exciting student housing in Toronto that you can call home at any time of year.

The property does not offer any cooling off period, all contracts are legal and binding.

If the tenant wants to end the agreement early, he/she will be liable for the following:


1. The Tenant(s) finds a suitable replacement to occupy the room / apartment for the remainder of the Agreement and the accommodation application of the person willing to take the room is approved by property.


2. If Tenant(s) fails to find a suitable replacement in a reasonable period, property will take charge of finding a suitable replacement for the room and a CA$250 marketing and placement fee will be levied on the Tenant(s)’ account.


3. In both cases, Tenant(s) will be responsible for the rent until a suitable replacement is found or until the Agreement with Tenant(s) ends, whichever occurs first.


4. Termination request will not be considered unless the Tenant(s) has completed at least a 16-week period of accommodation, and long-term booking discounts (if) given to Tenant(s) will be levied on the Tenant(s)’ account.

1. Rent needs to be paid monthly, in advance.


2. The first month's rent is due on or before the move-in date.

Anyone with credibility may act as the guarantor.

1. If the cancellation request is received at least 31 days in advance, the Tenant’s liability will be waived for the balance of the rent for the remainder of the term and the rental amount paid will be refunded in 21 days. The security deposit is not refundable.


2. If the cancellation request is received between 10 days and 30 days, the Tenant will be charged a 2-week period of rental payment and his/her liability will be waived for the balance of the rent for the remainder of the term after 2 weeks, and the rental amount paid exceeding 2 weeks will be refunded in 21 days. The security deposit is not refundable.


3. If the cancellation request is received in less than 10 days of the arrival, the Tenant will be charged a 4-week period of rental payment and his/her liability for the balance of the rent will be waived for the remainder of the term after 4 weeks, and the rental amount paid exceeding 4 weeks will be refunded in 21 days. The security deposit is not refundable.


Please note: The lease termination request should arise from an extenuating circumstance, including serious illness and government obligation, along with a supporting proof from an authorized agency.

If the cancellation request is based on a visa denial and supported by valid proof, the Tenant’s liability for the balance of the rent for the remainder of the term will be waived and the rental amount paid will be refunded in 21 days. The security deposit is not refundable.

1. In the event of early termination of this Lease by Tenant(s), Tenant(s) will be responsible for the agreed upon monthly rent until the termination date stated in this Lease. 


2. Tenant(s) will also be held responsible for costs related to advertising for a replacement tenant and those costs necessary to ready the premises for the replacement tenant, including but not limited to painting and cleaning.

  • The £50 holding fee is fully refundable within 6 days of payment. Full refund is applicable whether your booking is finalized with Amber or even if we're unable to find a suitable match for you.
