It’s a friendly big Red house on a safe, convenience , central residential East Vancouver Kensington / Cedar Cottage area. Bus stop near by, 1 minute walk to the bus stop get you to downtown, UCW, VCC, Emily Carr university, Langara college, shopping malls. 2-7 mins walk to buses that take you to UBC, BCIT, UCW, Langara College, and big shopping mall,. 5-7 mins walk to Groceries , Supermarket, Banks, Library, Service Canada, Parks, restaurants, convenience store , 7-11, Swimming pool Elementary school, and Community Center .
There are 3 different suite in this big red house. You will be sharing the same house with me, landlord and her adult son. I love to eat good food. People call me the Foody Queen. My favourite food is Japanese, Korean, Vietnamese, Italian, Caribbean and Persian,
I’m retired and my main job now is to look after this International home to make everyone coming from abroad to feel as comfortable as possible away from home .
Take note: Please have your fee/rent ready when you arrived . You have to pay me a half month rent deposit if you’re staying more than 3 months. It will be returned to you when you move out upon nothing is broken or property is not damaged. That’s the rental rules in Canada.
From the past 10 years, I’ve had wonderful International people from France, Ireland, Italy, Belgium, Czech Republic, Germany, Switzerland, UK,Indonesia, Dubai, Iran, Japan, Korea, Jamaica, Vietnam, Nepal, USA, Russia , India, Turkey, Palestine ,Goa, Burma, Thailand, Philippine, Nigeria, Cameroon, and 2 Ghana students just arrived . It’s a great experience to know and learn from different cultures and food.
My rules in my comfy home is to clean after yourself! You’re living in a sharing environment so if you cook, clean all your dirty dishes and kitchen counter and stove right away. IIf you used the bathroom, clean right away so the next person can use a clean bathroom too! Take your garbage out when it’s full. Also keep the noise down after 10pm . Simple,..,Use the common sense.
** Please bring your own personal cleaning supplies : Example; shampoo, soaps, laundry detergent, dish soap, cleaning supplies etc.. There’s a cheap dollar store near by.
