La Arboleja is a small village located in the area known as the "new huerta" (market garden), part of the municipality of Murcia, Spain. It has a population of just over 2,000 residents and offers a peaceful, rural atmosphere while remaining close to the city.
One of the area's most iconic features is the Paseo del Malecón, a historic walkway officially recognized as a Site of Cultural Interest. Elevated three meters above the ground, it stretches more than 1.5 km along the western edge of Murcia, connecting the city center with the lush landscapes of the huerta.
