An inviting apartment, it is located in a quiet residential neighborhood about a 10 minutes’ walk from Ondarreta beach. On the beach you’ll be able to find all kinds of amenities such as txiringuitos(beach cafés/bars), showers, changing rooms with lockers, along with kayak and SUP board rentals.
It’s on this beach’s breakwaters that you’ll find the must-see artwork by artist Eduardo Chillida called ElPeine del Viento(The Comb of The Wind), a collection of three steel sculptures made famous as one of the backdrops to Woody Allen’s latest film.
You’ll find us located in the upper Antiguo neighborhood, an area which has become one of the most distinctive, traditional and authentic of San Sebastian. It is full of local amenities like shops, bars and restaurants, where you can sample the best of Donostia’sexquisite gastronomy.
Another local place of interest is the historical Palacio de Miramar (The Miramar Palace), former summer residence of Queen Maria Cristina of Spain, which offers one of the best panoramic views of the city from its main tower.
The town centre is a mere 15 minutes’ walk from the apartment, and can be reached by a promenade bordering the sandy expanses of the Playa de la Concha, allowing you to discover the city of San Sebastian and its bay, in all their exquisite beauty.
