When considering prematurely terminating your Tenancy Agreement, it is your responsibility to do one of the following:
1. Continue to pay rent as per the agreement until the unit is re-let. We will refund any monies owed to you if and when the unit is re-let.
2. Find another suitable person to take over your unit so there is a continuation of payments to the unit owner.
3. In all cases the unit must still be returned to the same standard that it was in at the commencement of the lease.
If you are unable to arrive on your selected date due to flight cancellations, the property management may be able to move your lease commencement date. Depending on the length of delay, there may be some financial penalties incurred. This is handled on a case-by-case basis. If your flight is delayed, please email the property management directly.
Cancellation due to:
1. Providing false or misleading information during your application or booking process
2. Failure to pay your bond or rent in advance
3. Failure to sign the Residential Tenancy Agreement when required
4. A change of mind
will result in a monetary penalty. This may include forfeiting some or all of your advance rental payment and/or bond payment and is negotiated on a case-by-case basis.
