I’m renting out my daughter’s room for 6 months while she’s on university exchange overseas. My cozy home is perched on the cliff between Gordon's Bay and Clovelly beaches, just a short walk to both beaches and two lovely cafes, the Clovelly Hotel, and Foodworks. Parking is available on the street, though it can be a bit tricky in the evenings. There’s also parking at the Clovelly Surf Club nearby. The bus stop to the city for work or university is only 2 minutes down the hill.

The bedroom features a large floor-to-ceiling wardrobe spanning the whole wall, a giant chest of drawers, and a shoe rack, offering plenty of space and storage. The apartment is split across two levels: the main floor includes the shared kitchen, bathroom, and your bedroom, plus an open-plan living room that’s all yours. I live upstairs, so you’ll have plenty of privacy.

This is an older-style block with a friendly, quiet community, and it has a shared garden and laundry. The apartment offers beautiful ocean views and lots of natural light, especially in the morning when the kitchen is bathed in sunshine. The apartment is on the top floor. Other things to note: No dishwasher, great water pressure, fly screens are installed throughout.

Rent is $600 per week, inclusive of Wi-Fi, electricity, and gas. The lease is from approximately January 20th to the middle of August 2025. A one-week rent security deposit is required, with rent payable in advance.
