In the immediate vicinity you will find various restaurants, supermarkets, bakeries, doctors and a café. There are also various green spaces and parks, a bookstore and a post office.

Bus lines 131 (Sülz) and 134 (University) as well as streetcar lines 16 and 17 are within walking distance with very good connections to Cologne and Bonn. The freeway junction Köln-Süd is only a few minutes away, which means that Köln-Sürth is optimally connected to the Cologne freeway ring and the Cologne-Bonn airport via the A4 and A555.
