In a minute you can walk to the palace square and the pedestrian zone with numerous cafes, restaurants, bakeries and service providers. All shops for daily needs are in the immediate vicinity.
You can walk to Durlach train station in around 10 minutes. You can get to Karlsruhe city center in just 15 minutes by tram (stop directly at Schlossplatz). The A5 motorway (exit KA-Durlach) can also be reached in a very short distance.
