LIVING ROOM: Spaceous and very bright, thanks to 3 large windows and a balcony door to the right. Pleated blinds for dimming and privacy. If you work from home and don't want to use the dining table, there's plenty of space for an extra workstation (or a large TV).
KITCHEN: New and fully equipped, features work surfaces on both sides, a stove, oven, fridge, freezer, full size dishwasher and all pottery, dishes and cutlery for meals with friends. There's an active ventilation to a dedicated shaft, so cooking odours are kept to a minimum.
BEDROOM: Full king size (180 cm wide, 200 cm long) with new high-quality memory foam & latex mattress. A large window directly onto the balcony offers lots of light with pleated blinds for privacy and a roller blind for complete darkness. Very large built-in white wardrobe (3m wide) plus rolling cabinets under the bed for storage.
BATHROOM: Shower, active ventilation, cupboard/vanity, storage surfaces and laundry bags. Washing machines and dryers are available in the basement for shared use.
SURROUNDINGS:
The appartment is on the 3rd floor of a well-kept house with nice, quiet neighbours. The house is part of a well kept complex of houses with perfect connections to public transportation and highways: Tram lines 18 and 12 are within short walking distances and the inner city is a only a 10 minute ride away. The "latin quarter" with its many gastro options is a mere 10-15 mins walk. When driving, A59, A3 and A4 are only 10 mins away, the A57 (to Düsseldorf) and A555 (to Bonn) about 15 min outside rush hour. There's a secured parking space reserved for you in the locked garage just across the street (not visible from the appartment), 3 mins walking distance. Numerous supermarkets (REWE, Aldi, Lidl, DM, etc.) are within walking distance. It really is a logistical sweet spot.
The appartment is intended for 1 person, for two regular tenants (max), the rent increases by 200€ /month. The landlord lives 20 mins away, is fluent in English and can be reached for problems or local advice. I you have questions, please do not hesitate to ask.
