Bright and airy self catering private penthouse suite with own private entrance with ensuite shower room and small kitchenette equipped with toaster, kettle, fridge, 2 burner hob, microwave, mini oven & washing machine leading to a large & lovely outdoor terrace roof garden and sunbeds. Fast wifi, flat tv with various tv stations & bedside lights. Fully equipped with emergency lights, smoke alarm, cctv outside property, good security, safe residential area, fire extinguisher, fire blanket, first aid kit, hand sanitizer, small home lift , full privacy, independent small apartment style and own keys, yet we are close by for whatever you may need. Also King + Double bedrooms in shared Apt 2. Complimentary cleaning service every month. 15 mins by Taxi from Airport, 1 minute from bus stop. Fully Covid compliant. Books, umbrellas, beach mats, ironing facilities, board games etc available to borrow. Quiet residential area and just 100m round the corner from bus stops and supermarket, charity shop, hairdresser, confectionery. Pharmacy 5 min walk away. Seaside promenade ( great for walking / jogging ) and rocky beach under 5 min walk, restaurants and sandy beach 10 min walk.
Myself, my husband and adult daughter live on the property downstairs. Also available for longer stay Erasmus, internships or work as from 16th September - 30th June. Fully Licenced & inspected as a Host Family with the Malta Tourist Authority. We hosted our first students in 1990. New to Homestay but experienced hosts. Adults 18+ only.
Please note that for stays commencing from 1st July 2026 there is a Government tourist tax of €1.50 pp pn, capped to €22.50 for longer stays, this is collected on arrival. We also require 20% deposit on stays longer than 30 days. Long stays over 30 days receive 100 free monthly electrical units included, extras are by meter on consumption + 10 units free water. Ex 1 month you use 130 units electrical , 100 are free so you pay only for 30 units at 12 cents = €3.60. Water say you use 15 units, so 5 x 20c = 1.00. So month extra bill would be €4.60. We sadly have had to do this as some guests waste electricity & water :(
