Just around the corner from is Ubik. It’s a bookshop and café in one. It has attentive staff and vegetarian options. Some consider it the heart and soul of Russafa.
This area really comes to life during the Las Fallas festival in March. The street lights and illuminations in Russafa are magical. (Think Christmas multiplied by ten.)
Fun fact
Eixample is (hidden)n for ‘extension’. This neighbourhood grew from the old city in the late 1800s, swallowing up the former village of Russafa. Expansionist!
