The city center of Erfurt with its beautiful cathedral, numerous medieval buildings and of course the famous Krämerbrücke, is only 15 minutes away by car. There is also a bus connection that takes you to the train station in about 20 minutes. So you are centrally located and yet idyllic in the countryside. The convenient connection to the A4 (5 minutes) and the Erfurt intersection (10 minutes) make the journey and a possible commute easy and uncomplicated.
