The town is also home to many water-sport activities, including banana boat, speed boat and jet ski rides, as well as kayaking, snorkelling and diving.
For history enthusiasts, the imposing Bugibba Battery is a 20-minute walk away, and both the ancient Megalithic Temples of Malta, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and the historic city of Mdina are a 20-minute drive away.
