Venetian Alcove is located in the Santa Croce district, a particularly quiet area, tucked away from the busiest tourist routes. The apartment was fully renovated in March 2025 and offers well-designed and functional interiors.

It is situated on the second floor of a building with no lift and is accessed via a few small steps. It features one bedroom and a fully equipped kitchen.

The nearest vaporetto stop is San Stae. Within walking distance are the Rialto Market, the train station, Piazzale Roma, and the lively Campo San Giacomo dell’Orio.

Accommodates 2 guests, with 1 bedroom (1 double bed) and 1 bathroom — an elegant and functional bathroom with contemporary fittings, recently renovated for maximum comfort. Family amenities include 1 baby cot (plus 1 extra baby cot on request).

Location: Santa Croce — District of Santa Croce / San Polo. Venice has six districts, known as "sestieri." Santa Croce is the district through which you access the city if you arrive by land. Here, you find the very lively Campo San Giacomo dall’Orio, where many Venetian families and children meet up to play in the open. It is a great place to experience authentic Venetian daily life, and a good place to have an evening aperitif. The district of San Polo sees the Rialto area as its main protagonist, with its famous bridge and daily open-air fruit, vegetable, and fish markets (no Sunday and Monday), full of colors and fragrances; a historical Venetian landmark, full of life and charm, where you can meet many Venetians out shopping for groceries. Walking past Campo San Polo you reach the Basilica dei Frari, a magnificent church with a large rose window on the front façade, surrounded by many artisan boutiques and pastry shops where you can have delicious breakfasts.

How to arrive: Vaporetto Line 1 to San Stae; Alilaguna Orange Line to San Stae. Top things to see and do in the area: Rialto Bridge and markets, Basilica dei Frari, Scuola Grande di San Rocco, Museo di Ca’ Pesaro, Natural History Museum, Ca’ Corner della Regina – Fondazione Prada.
