For day trips from Zagreb, Varaždin, a historic city with an enchanting Baroque core, and Plitvice Lakes with wonderful cascades are excellent options and can be reached in 1.15 to 2.15 hours.
The closest international airport is Zagreb's Franjo Tuđman International Airport, about a 30-minute drive from here, while the closest bus stop is just a few steps from the apartment. For further convenience, tram stop Slovenska is just next door.
