Yugo Lee Point is an affluent and cozy student accommodation in Cork. The property offers a range of en-suites between 5 to 8 Bedroom apartments and are available on a variety of different floors. The property is in close proximity to well-known educational institutes such as University College Cork, St Johns, CIT School of Music, Crawford College of Art & Design, and Cork College of Commerce.

Cooling Off Period




Bookings made prior to 1st May 2024


If you sign your Licence prior to 1 May 2024 and you have not collected the keys to your room, you may cancel your Licence, by giving notice in writing or by e-mail to the manager at the property, with no penalty up until the 1st May. Once they receive such a notice, they will confirm receipt, cancel your Licence and will refund your advance room fee payment.




Bookings made on or after 1st May 2024


If you sign your Licence on or after 1 May 2024 and you have not collected the keys to your room, you may cancel your Licence, at any time within the period of fourteen (14) days of the date on which you sign your Licence (the “Cooling-Off Period”). Notice must be in writing or by e-mail to the manager at the property. Once they receive such a notice, they will confirm receipt, cancel your Licence and will refund your advance room fee payment.

Cancelling as you do not receive your visa




If you are not successfully awarded a visa to travel and study, then they can help. Firstly, they may be able to transfer you to another one of our residences around the globe if you are going to study elsewhere.




If you are not going to study elsewhere or they do not have accommodation available in your new city/town of study, they will release you from your tenancy agreement provided the following criteria are met:



  1. You submit your request to cancel, in writing or by e-mail to the manager at the property, within 3 days of your visa rejection letter: and

  2. You provide the manager with a copy of your rejection letter from the embassy or visa office.


If your tenancy has commenced, you will remain liable for the rent payable under the tenancy agreement until receipt of the above.

This is applicable to prospective first-year round one CAO undergraduate students only.




If you are not successful in obtaining your place at your chosen university, then don’t worry, They can help. Firstly, they may be able to transfer you to another one of our residences if you are going to study elsewhere.




If you are not going to study elsewhere or they do not have accommodation available in your new city/town of study, they will release you from your tenancy agreement provided the following criteria are met:



  1. Current year leaving certificate students may submit a request to cancel, in writing by e-mail to the manager at the property, within 24 hours of your offer/rejection.

  2. You provide the manager with a copy of your rejection letter from the college or CAO.


Once they have your request, they will confirm receipt and refund your advance rent payment of £250.00, together with any other rent payments you may have made.

Outside the cooling-off period, you may request to cancel your tenancy, by notice in writing or by e-mail to the manager at the property. However, you will remain liable for the rent payable under the tenancy agreement until a suitable replacement tenant has been found.

1. The student will need to pay an advance rent fee of Euros 300 which will go towards the first rent payment.


2. The advance rent will depend on the room type you select, this might change due to availability, please get in touch with your amber agent to know more.


3. The management doesn’t take any extra deposits for booking.

1. If you’re a domestic student or international student with a UK based guarantor or International guarantor, you can pay your rent for upto 8 installments as per the rental agreement.


2. You can also pay your annual rent in a full upfront amount in case you do not have a guarantor.


3. In special circumstances, get in touch with your residence support team to talk about what other options are possible.

Credit card and Debit card, but in some instances you may be able to pay by bank transfer provided you have spoken to your residence support team first.

1. If you’re an international student and would like to pay your rent in instalments, you’ll need a UK based guarantor or International guarantor.


2. If this isn’t possible, you can still book a room, but you’ll have to pay your rent in an upfront annual sum instead.


3. A guarantor is someone who agrees to pay your rent if you’re unable to, for example one of your parents or a close relative.

1. You will be charged a €100 Amber Platform Fees for processing this booking request.


2. The Amber team will prioritise your request and will help you liaise with the property throughout your booking journey and stay period.


3. This fee will be refunded only if Amber is not able to provide you the selected room category in the selected property.
