These central neighbourhoods of Florence are ideal if you are going to one of the UNIFI departments that are located in the centre of the Italian city, since you will be able to reach all of them easily on foot or by bicycle. In these areas, there are also many bars and restaurants that students normally frequent.
This area is ideal if you are going to go to the buildings where the Faculties of Psychology, Architecture (in San Niccolò, Santa Verdiana and Santa Teresa) and the building of the Via del Proconsolo.
These two areas, which are to the west of the centre, are ideal if you are going to the Novoli campus and the buildings in the Rifredi area. They are quieter than the centre of Florence in terms of entertainment, but they also have several restaurants, shops and cultural places to go.
UNIFI does not have its own student residences, but you will find a wide range of private residences in the city of Florence. You have to pay close attention to the accommodation options they offer, since some of them have single rooms and others have shared rooms.
