It has campuses in two cities in Finland, Turku and Salo. In this section we focus on those located in Turku, which are:

Kupittaa Campus

This campus is part of the Turku Science Park. As its name suggests, it is located in the Kupittaa neighbourhood, which is located east of the city centre, and next to the main railway station. These two areas can be connected in less than 15 minutes by bus and in about 30 minutes on foot.

It is made up of buildings like the following:

• Medisiina D: is part of the “Turku Health Campus” which is made up of several collaborative institutions. Classes related to Health Sciences are taught here, with facilities such as the TUASLab (Center for Biomedical Sciences), and the LiiLab (Laboratory for sports and functional capacity).
• ICT City: its name translates to “ICT City.” Here, classes are taught in fields such as social services, emergency nurses, dental technicians, radiologists, physiotherapists, engineers, among others.
• EduCity: this building was built as a collaborative space, in which the new type of learning “innopeda®” was introduced.
• Lemminkäisenkatu - Lemppari: here classes are taught in branches such as Engineering, Culture and Arts, Journalism and Business Administration.

Linnankatu Arts Campus

Linnankatu Art Campus is located between districts VIII and IX, on the banks of the Aura River.

VIII Kaupunginosa - Port Arthur

Known by these two names, this district is located southwest of the centre of Turku. It is an area known for its tranquillity and cobbled streets, as well as for being the home of the Linnankatu Art Campus. Another fact to keep in mind is that it has good access by public transport to the liveliest areas of Turku.

Kupittaa and I Kaupunginosa

The Kupittaa neighbourhood, located east of the city centre, is ideal for those students who want to live close to the Turku UAS Kupittaa Campus, since all its facilities are located there. District I has a lot of student accommodation as it is very close to this campus and hosts the main campus of the University of Turku.

VI Kaupunginosa

This district is ideal to live in if you want to be close to leisure and entertainment venues most frequented by students, as well as having good access to both campuses by public transport and bicycle. However, be aware that as it is a more central area, the cost of rents may be a little higher than in the districts mentioned above.

Student residences near Turku UAS

The institution itself does not have university residences, but you can choose between private and public halls of residence. Some of them are offered by the Student Village Foundation of Turku (TYS), where you can find both single rooms in shared flats and en-suite rooms (with their own bathroom) with shared kitchen.
