The landlord accepts and payment is made

Modern waterfront home near Amsterdam & Utrecht | Furnished for 2–3 months from January 2027

Looking for a peaceful place to call home for a few months? Our modern, fully furnished home on the water in the charming Dutch village of Baambrugge will be available for a 2–3 month stay from January 2027. The exact start date is flexible, and we’d love to find someone who will enjoy the house as much as we do.

THE HOUSE

Our home is bright, modern and full of character, with beautiful vaulted ceilings, exposed wooden beams and underfloor heating throughout. Set right on the water in a picturesque Dutch village, it offers a lovely balance of peaceful village life and easy access to the city, with direct train connections to both Amsterdam and Utrecht in around 20 minutes.

The house has solar panels and fast Starlink Wi-Fi, making it a comfortable place to work remotely. There are two desks, including an electric sit-stand desk, as well as a Sonos sound system and a projector in the living room for cosy evenings at home.

OUTDOORS

One of the things we love most about this house is being so close to the water. There’s a floating terrace where you can relax by the water and take a swim in summer, plus a balcony overlooking the beautiful surrounding polder, a traditional windmill and, on clear evenings, the Amsterdam skyline.

Two bikes are included, perfect for exploring the village and the surrounding countryside. There’s also free parking right outside the house.

BEDROOMS & BATHROOM

The house has two bedrooms: one on the ground floor and one in the basement. Please note that the basement bedroom has no window or natural daylight. It’s comfortable and wonderfully dark, which some people really appreciate, but it’s worth keeping in mind when deciding if the house is right for you.

There is one shared bathroom and a separate toilet.

RENT & PRACTICAL DETAILS

- Rent: €2,800 per month, including all bills (energy, water and Wi-Fi)
- Availability: 2–3 months from January 2027, with a flexible start date to be agreed
- Furnished: Fully furnished and ready to move into
- Deposit: One month’s rent
- Pets: Welcome
- House rules: No smoking indoors or parties

Please note that registration at the address is not possible. The house is therefore best suited to someone who already has a main residence elsewhere, for example while working on a temporary assignment, relocating for a project or spending a few months working remotely.

The house is ideal for one person, a couple or a small family looking for a comfortable, peaceful home for a few months. It’s especially well suited to remote workers who appreciate a dedicated workspace, nature on their doorstep and the option of being in Amsterdam or Utrecht within a short train ride.
