What you'll need

Complete your booking on HomeStay
On HomeStay you send the booking request, and you are not charged anything until the landlord confirms. Once accepted, you pay the first month on their platform and you may be asked for an extra document, such as:

Come on, move in
Arrange your arrival date, key handover and everything else directly with your landlord. Remember also that most providers transfer your money to the owner only 48 hours after your arrival at the house.

I'm Jewel, a warm and friendly host who has been welcoming guests from around the globe for the past 20 years.

Welcome to my two-storey French-inspired home in sunny East Auckland, New Zealand. Situated in a very safe suburb with a charming village nearby that offers all the essentials, my home is perfect for families, individuals, or travellers seeking a peaceful retreat.

You'll find my home conveniently close to stunning beaches with breathtaking sunrise and sunset views. The Half Moon Bay Marina is just a quick five-minute drive away, providing easy access to daily ferry rides to picturesque Waiheke Island or bustling Auckland City.

A bus stop is conveniently located just a 3-minute walk from my home, offering access to nearby supermarkets, shopping malls—including Botany Town Centre and Sylvia Park, Auckland's largest shopping malls—and the vibrant city centre.

Inside my home, alongside your comfortable room, you'll find a welcoming shared lounge area with a cosy fireplace, TV, and outdoor space.

For your convenience, I offer airport pickup for a small fee of $40 NZD to ensure your arrival is as seamless as possible, especially if navigating public transport seems daunting.

Please note that I have two friendly cats who are used to having guests, and I kindly request that my home remains smoke-free.
