What you'll need

On HomeStay you send the booking request, and you are not charged anything until the landlord confirms. Once accepted, you pay the first month on their platform and you may be asked for an extra document, such as:

Arrange your arrival date, key handover and everything else directly with your landlord. Remember also that most providers transfer your money to the owner only 48 hours after your arrival at the house.

Room description

We are a professional couple - Sandra and Michael - working from home - origin from Germany, but living in New Zealand for more than 15 years. Our house is located about 5 minutes drive from Titirangi shops and 3 minutes walk to next bus stop which connects to Transportcenter New Lynn and further into Auckland CBD.
The house sits on a sunny top hill Waitakere bush section with plenty of opportunities for hiking and walking, many walks start at our doorstep, mountain biking and cycling . We are also close to all West Coast beaches for surfing or fishing.
We live in the main house. For guests we offer:
self contained flat with 2 double bedrooms, sleeps two to four people, spacious bathroom with shower over bath and washing machine. A kitchen / dining area to prepare breakfast and light meals. Lounge with TV, DVD and books, games for entertainment. Private sunny deck overlooking Manukau Harbour. Off street parking for one car in front of the flat. Wireless internet access provided and heat pump for cooler days and nights.

Long term - the place would suit a couple who likes to enjoy a quiet place to relax after working or studying. Short term - we would like to host visitors, who want a homestay to explore the West Coast beaches and Waitakere Regional Park or looking for a quiet place out of town. We are happy to help organize and planing traveling around the country, can arrange transport and accommodation for further destinations.
