I live in a medium size apartment (Bogota standards). The rooms are well lit. The West room has larger windows that the East one. Bogota can be cold in the evening, so I provide heating in both rooms. We are right in the downtown area of the city, in a university sector near Universidad de Los Andes, Central, Tadeo Lozano, and others. La Candelaria neighborhood is only a 10-minute walk away. Stores and supermarkets within walking distance. La Macarena neighborhood, with its many restaurants, is close too. We are close to the cable car to Monserrate. In general, the area is reasonably quiet and safe, normal precautions.
Vivo en un apartamento de tamaño mediano (estándares de Bogotá). Las habitaciones están bien iluminadas. La habitación Oeste tiene ventanas más grandes que la Este. Bogotá puede ser frío por la noche, así que proporciono calefacción en ambas habitaciones. Estamos en pleno centro de la ciudad, en un sector universitario cerca de la Universidad de Los Andes, Central, Tadeo Lozano, entre otros. El barrio de La Candelaria está a solo 10 minutos a pie. Tiendas y supermercados a poca distancia. El barrio de La Macarena, con sus numerosos restaurantes, también está cerca. Estamos cerca del teleférico a Monserrate. En general, el área es razonablemente tranquila y segura, precauciones normales.
This room has its own private bathroom and views of the mountains. It has enough natural lighting, even though the window is medium size. The area is very central. We are in the university area. Bogota is cold, but the room has it's own heater.
