Room description
I have up to 4 private rooms with TV & fast Wifi for anyone visiting Bradford or the surrounding area. Funky eclectic rooms with everything you need. Free tea and coffee. Free wifi. Use of kitchen facilities and washer. Space given in fridge and cupboards. You can cook in my kitchen no problem. Each bedroom is a double bedroom and has a TV, Wifi, netflix, double bed and a table for study. There is also a free drinks station in every bedroom, with a kettle and free tea and coffee. If you are wanting meals to be provided, this will be at an extra cost of £7 a meal. I live in an industrial city just over a mile from the town Centre in Bradford, West Yorkshire. It is 15 miles from the start of the Yorkshire Dales National Park and further to the Lake District. Nearby within the Bradford District is the Bronte Country, namely Haworth, the place where authors of famous English Literature, Jane Eyre and Wuthering Heights were written. Bradford also has the National Media Museum of Photography & Television, many theatres and shopping. Bradford also boasts the UNESCO site of Saltaire, a must visit and has many festivals of music and culture. I also have two rooms there available if anyone wants to stay near Saltaire, where there are beautiful river walks and woods and a canal nearby. There are beautiful journeys over the moors to Hebden Bridge, Halifax, touching walks of the Pennine Way. Leeds is 10 miles away and on everyones' itinerary,York, being only 30 miles away. Bradford is central in the UK, a mid stop from London to Scotland. Furthermore it is a multicultural city and is famous for Asian curries, mainly Kashmiri food. Lots of curry houses to explore! Good and cheap eating out! Real ale is very popular with local breweries for those real ale connoisseurs. Happy to spend time with you and show you around especially on my daily doggie walks and swims in beauty spots in and around Bradford. I was a backpacker and have travelled extensively. I also have been a voluntary English teacher in Asia and Africa. I am interested in all peoples short or long term stay, whether it be a night, a week, a month or many months, we are happy to see everyone and also happy to help teach English to people who needs help with the English language. My motto is that strangers are only friends we haven't met yet! Looking forward to hosting you and to look after you along with my little doggy Elsa who likes a pat on the head and throw a ball as often as you can .... so I await your happy face and Elsa concludes with saying woof! woof! in the hope that we may meet and run around in the lovely surrounding countryside of Bradford! Woof! woof!
