On Amberstudent you send the booking request, and you are not charged anything until the landlord confirms. Once accepted, you pay the first month on their platform and you may be asked for an extra document, such as:

Refunds will be processed within 10 working days.

Cancellation is permitted before the tenancy start date if the tenant is unable to obtain a visa to enter the UK.

Supporting evidence, such as a visa refusal, must be provided to the Residents’ Team within 72 hours of receiving it.
