My daughter and I live in a two-bedroom apartment located in Pilsen on the west side of Chicago. My daughter is a freshman in college so she only comes home a few times a year and in the summer. My apartment has a large spacious kitchen, a laundry room, and a spacious living room to relax while watching television or to study. I enjoy cooking so you will have a chance to enjoy some foods from my culture.
We reside in an area that is located just blocks from various places to eat. There is a local library in the area for your use. The University of Illinois at Chicago and St. Ignatius College Prep are located just a few blocks away from me. If you enjoy bike-riding, there are bike rentals available two blocks away on Taylor street. I have been living in the same area for the past four years because it is a culturally diverse neighborhood and the people are very friendly. Eventually, I plan to buy a house or a condo and remain in my same neighborhood for years to come.
The room is a standard 10 by 12 bedroom with a single bed and two dressers. There is a large closet for clothes and a small television.
