Student flats and spare rooms near THUAS

Finding accommodation in The Hague can be challenging due to the high demand. That's why we suggest you search with enough time so you have a better chance of finding something perfect for you. However, first you must know in which area the campus is located.

Where’s The Hague University of Applied Sciences located?

THUAS has three campuses, which are in The Hague, Delft and Zoetermeer, and also a sports campus. The facilities of the degree programs and service departments are distributed among them.

The Hague Main Campus

The university's main campus is located in The Hague, in the Johanna Westerdijkplein square, approximately ten minutes by car from the centre. It’s a modern building, very well connected and home to the following faculties:

  • Public management, Law, and Security
  • Business, Finance, and Marketing
  • Health, Nutrition, and Sports
  • Information Technology and Design
  • Management and Organization
  • Social Work and Education
  • Technology, Innovation, and Society

It also includes different offices, the Central Library, which has 400 study areas, some with computers and Internet connections, a main restaurant and several cafes, as well as a gym and a sports hall.

Delft Campus

Eleven kilometres away from the main one, we find the campus in Delft. It offers eight of the degree programs corresponding to the faculties of Information Technology and Design, and of Technology, Innovation and Society.

Zoetermeer Campus

Approximately fifteen kilometres away, THUAS has its Academy of Information Technology and Design in Zoetermeer, in close collaboration with the business community in this area.

Sports Campus of Zuiderpark

The institution has a sports centre in Zuiderpark (Sportcampus Zuiderpark), ten minutes drive from the main location. It comprises four gymnasiums, a dance studio, a beach sports facility, a gymnastics centre and an amateur sports hall. Outside there are soccer fields and a multifunctional artificial grass field. The International Sports Management degree program is also offered here.

This area is directly south of the university, about fifteen minutes walk, so it’s also very popular among students. It’s usually more affordable than more central areas, and it has the basic services that you may need, such as supermarkets, shops or restaurants.

If you prefer to be near the beach, Scheveningen can be your place. Although it’s a little further from the University, it has good transport links and offers a lively atmosphere, especially in summer.
