Dank der Aufteilung eignet sich das Studio ideal für Studierende, Berufstätige, Praktikant:innen und Pendler, aber auch für kleine Gruppen von Kolleg:innen, Monteure oder Projektteams, Freund:innen, die vorübergehend zusammen wohnen möchten, Austauschstudierende oder Erasmus-Studierende, Gastdozent:innen oder Visiting Researchers, Messebesucher:innen bei längerem Aufenthalt, Personen in einer Übergangsphase. Die Anbindung ist sehr gut: Eine Bushaltestelle befindet sich direkt vor der Tür, die S-Bahn-Station ist in nur 5 Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar. Die TU Dortmund liegt ca. 1 km entfernt, der Dortmunder Hauptbahnhof ca. 4 km, und der Westfalenpark ist in nur 2 Stationen erreichbar. Auch die Westfalenhalle und das Westfalenstadion sind gut erreichbar.

Für den Alltag ist bestens gesorgt: Direkt im Gebäude befindet sich ein Lebensmittelladen für Dinge des täglichen Bedarfs wie Brot und weitere Lebensmittel. Lidl und weitere Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind ebenfalls fußläufig erreichbar.

Ein weiterer Vorteil ist die entspannte Parksituation mit kostenlosen Parkplätzen direkt vor der Tür.
