The location is on one of Lisbon’s major urban avenues, in the area known as Avenidas Novas, a central and well‐connected part of the city. Avenida Fontes Pereira de Melo stretches roughly 900 m between Praça Marquês de Pombal and Praça Duque de Saldanha.
Very well‐served by public transport. The Metro Picoas station (Yellow Line) is very close, as well as numerous buses along the avenue.
