Room description

Thank you for your interest in Sodam Sodam, our multicultural share house.

The name Sodam can mean “a story filled with laughter,” reflecting the joy we create together. In Korean, it also describes something wholesome, neat, tasty, and pleasing to look at. Sodam Sodam is a home designed for young adults living on their own: not a large, isolated studio, but a community where you can have your own space and still live together. Our goal is to bring people from different countries together like family, sharing cultures and everyday life in a comfortable home. If you enjoy meeting people with an open mind, you may be a great fit for the Sodam family.

Sodam Sodam is a women-only multicultural share house designed with women's safety in mind. It has convenient access to both the Sillim Line and Line 2, 24-hour CCTV security, and a layout designed by a well-known Korean architect specifically for women. It has become especially popular with people in Korea and abroad who want to share cultures and make friends from other countries. When a room becomes available, we'll contact applicants in the order we receive their letters of intent (LOIs).

Sodam Sodam has been featured in various media as a successful youth co-housing project. Since 2021, it has also been listed on Seoul's official community housing platform, recognizing its safety and convenience. To learn more, search online for “Sodam Sodam Sillim-dong.” You'll find articles and information in major media outlets.

Sodam Sodam is popular for its affordable rates and facilities, but its greatest appeal is the chance to live together as a close-knit, multicultural community. Consideration and respect are essential, as is understanding friends from other countries. These are basic expectations for everyone who hopes to live here. More than just a place to stay, Sodam is a place to create value through living together—and make your younger years happier.
