This is UNSW's main and largest campus. It is located in the suburb of Kensington, approximately 5 kilometres southeast of the Sydney’s CBD. The Kensington campus is home to a wide range of faculties, research facilities, libraries, student residences and support services. It is home to, among others, the UNSW School of Medicine and the Prince of Wales Hospital.
The UNSW Faculty of Art and Design is based on Paddington campus, which is located in the suburb of Paddington, close to central Sydney. This campus specialises in art and design programs.
This is the most central of the campuses, located in the Central Business District from Sydney. Its main focus is on the Business School.

These two areas are convenient if you are going to the UNSW Art & Design Campus. Paddington offers an artistic and bohemian atmosphere, with art galleries and fashion stores. Surry Hills has grown in popularity in recent years and is also a lively area full of restaurants, cafes and shops frequented by students. It should be noted that from Surry Hills you can also reach Sydney CBD Campus in a short time by bus.
