The flat has always been an interantional students/trainees place. Until now, there has been people from Ireland, Thailand, Spain, France, Netherlands, Nigeria, Filipinas, Slovenia, Slovakia, Lithuania, Brasil, Switzerland, Germany, Russia, India, China, Italy, Czechia and Corea. All of them non smokers.
Additionaly to the monthly rent you have to pay the utility costs (since the beginning of the war in Ucraine, about 60-75 EUR in the warm months, about 95-115 in the cold months, depending specially on heating and hot water).
City centre, street Liivamäe tänav (¡¡not "Liivamäe tee"!!), walking distance to University of Tallinn, Estonian Business School, Tallinna Tehnikakõrgkool, old town, bus station... Direct tramway to EKA (from the stop Keskturg). Less than 5 minutes to the bus stops to Technical University, to the towns of Jüri and Peetri, to the airport, to Ülemiste City...
The room is bright and confortable, it has a surface of about 15 m2 and a very big balcony. The balcony is equiped with a confortable glazing which you can close an open totally or partially in order to enjoy the nice weather or protect yourself from wind and cold. There is a self-made wooden bench made of wood discarded from construction sites.
The room is oriented to the East (sunshine in the morning). The parkett is orginal sovietic, made of real wood, no laminate. The old desk is from before the soviet times (probably older than 100 years). The closet, night table and chair are original sovietic. The wall protection around the bed is self made out of recycled construction wood. You can lock the door of your room with key.
The flat is located on a 4th floor with lift (9 step-stair in the house entrance though!), it has a total surface of 70 m2. There is a washing machine, oven, fridge, microwaves oven, water boiler, toaster, mixer, vacuum cleaner... for common use of all flatmates. It has wifi, central heating and each room and the corridor are equiped with fire alarms.
The flat has a complete bathroom (bath tube, wc, sink, washing machine) AND a toilette (wc and sink). Both have been completely reconstructed.
The corridor is old and ugly, but it fulfills its two functions perfectly: be a corridor and serve as an immersion experience in the sovietic spirit of the flat.
The living-kitchen is amid a transformation process, but it will keep its lovely sovietic charme. It is equiped with all necessary modern appliances and is organized in a cooking-washing space and a living-eating-relaxing corner with table, chairs and pouffs.
