This is one of the oldest and most emblematic campuses of the Uni Bonn, being the main campus of the university. It is located in the Poppelsdorf district, about 10 minutes’ walk from the centre of Bonn. It is a multidisciplinary campus with classes from different faculties.
This campus is located in the Endenich district, west of the city centre. It houses the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, with institutes such as the Max Planck Institute for Radio Astronomy, the Institute of Chemistry and the Argelander Institute for Astronomy.
As its name indicates, it is located in the area of Venusberg, about 20 minutes by bus south of the centre of Bonn. This campus is focused on the Faculty of Medicine and has the prestigious Bonn University Hospital (UKB Universitätsklinikum Bonn).

This is the main campus of the institution, the Campus Poppelsdorf. Thanks to that, it is a very lively area with shops, restaurants and a student atmosphere. Plus, it's close to the Bonn Botanical Garden, which is a beautiful place to walk around.
Endenich is a convenient area for those who are going to go to Campus Endenich, which is right there. The neighbourhood is quiet and ideal for studying. In addition, public transport connections allow you to get around the city easily. Endenich offers a perfect combination of comfort and student life, with a variety of restaurants and cafes.
These areas in the south of the city are ideal if you are going to go to Campus Venusberg, which is located in the neighbourhood with that name. They are quieter areas than the centre of Bonn, but you will be able to reach the liveliest area in about 20 minutes to enjoy your free time. From Ippendorf and Kessenich, it takes about 10 minutes by bus to the Campus Venusberg.
If you prefer to live in the heart of Bonn, Altstadt is a good option. Here you will find an abundance of bars, restaurants, shops and cultural events. Although it is not right next to the university, you can easily reach its campuses by public transport.
In Bonn, the most common types of accommodation offered are rooms in shared flats or complete flats. There are usually not many private student halls available and the University of Bonn does not have university halls, so getting private accommodation is the most popular choice for international young people.
