THE FLEG CONCEPT

Welcome to FLEG – Furnished Lodging Easy Going: a personally managed shared living concept comprising several furnished shared apartments, all located under one roof and designed to offer a respectful, comfortable and multicultural living environment.

My family has been connected to this historic building, dating back to 1897, since shortly after World War II, when my maternal grandparents, refugees from Transylvania, rebuilt the war-damaged property and started a new life in Frankfurt.

Since then, the building has remained family-owned and personally managed. Over the decades, what was once a rather overlooked neighbourhood has developed into one of Frankfurt's most attractive urban areas.

FLEG is intended for young professionals, interns, trainees, researchers and international students who are coming to Frankfurt for a limited but meaningful period of time. The shared apartments are primarily suited to applicants between 21 and 36 years of age.

The aim is to create a welcoming multicultural atmosphere where people from many different countries and cultures feel equally at home. Mutual respect, consideration and reliability are therefore among the most important principles of everyday life.

Residents enjoy the privacy of their own lockable room while sharing the apartment's common areas and household facilities with like-minded people in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere.

ROOM

This bright and comfortable room is part of Apartment GASTON, a well-maintained three-bedroom flat on the fourth floor (no lift).

Its south-southwest-facing insulated window provides plenty of natural daylight while helping to keep the room pleasantly quiet throughout the year.

The room is private, lockable and offers the level of privacy expected in a well-organised shared home.

It already includes a comfortable single bed with an adjustable slatted base and a high-quality mattress, shelving/storage units, a chair and a shoe rack.
