What you'll need

On HomeStay you send the booking request, and you are not charged anything until the landlord confirms. Once accepted, you pay the first month on their platform and you may be asked for an extra document, such as:

Come on, move in
Arrange your arrival date, key handover and everything else directly with your landlord. Remember also that most providers transfer your money to the owner only 48 hours after your arrival at the house.

Room description

Hello and well done! You found us! Welcome to the fabulous Surfers Paradise Happy House on the breathtaking Nerang River. We have fabulous water views from the deck, a small private sandy beach and a jetty for fishing or crabbing.

On the west wing of the Happy House, are rooms for your enjoyment with a private entrance and seating. Plus a private kitchenette with crockery, cutlery and cooking pots to use. There is a choice of private double rooms (for singles or couples) or our cute Koala room with its comfortable single bed. Separate shower, separate toilet, air con in communal areas, private laundry (no clothes dryer - we hang our clothes outside on the clothes lines). Private garden seating.

On the east wing of the Happy House, you will find our beautiful salt water pool and jacuzzi, surrounded by pretty tropical gardens. This is the pathway to the river and all its beauty, with visiting swans and ducks and sometimes dolphins swim past. It's a great place for yoga, snacks, coffee or a beverage while you watch jetskis and big boats cruise by.

Enjoy: Free street parking, tropical gardens, large saltwater swimming pool, jacuzzi, waterfront deck. For sight seeing and exploring the surrounding areas, there are buses nearby, or enjoy a short 20-25 minute walk past million dollar homes, to the light rail (tram/G-Link) and central Surfers Paradise. The Sorrento Shopping Centre, and the upmarket Capri on Via Roma Shopping Complex are also within walking distance.

We are well travelled and are now happy to welcome travellers to enjoy our beautiful home on the Nerang River. All nationalities very welcome in this happy home away from home. This is a magic place where magic happens.
