Santa Luzia is well connected to the rest of Funchal and sits close to many popular digital nomad meetups, coworking spaces, and events. Thanks to its central position, it’s easy to join community activities, fitness classes, hikes, and social gatherings happening around the city.

While it’s possible to live comfortably here without a vehicle, renting a scooter or car is recommended if you want to explore more of Madeira, including hikes, beaches, viewpoints, and more remote parts of the island.
