Where is the University of Manchester located?

The institution locates most of its facilities in the southern part of the city centre, and a little further away it has several of their residences and accommodations.

City Campus

What is considered the main campus is the union of two areas corresponding to former universities that merged: the Oxford Road (formerly the Victoria University of Manchester campus) and the Sackville Street (formerly the University of Manchester Institute of Science and Technology – UMIST campus). Both areas are a very short distance from each other, so getting around the campus is very easy. Here you can find almost all its facilities and buildings, with the exception of some accommodations.

Victoria Park Campus

Further south, the university located areas intended for accommodation of its students, outside the main campus.

Fallowfield Campus

Another campus destined for university residences is the Fallowfield Campus, three kilometres from the main one. This also includes a sports centre.
