In this section we tell you the location of the University campuses and the different convenient neighbourhoods that you can consider to live near each of them.

Where is the University of Montenegro located?

It has campuses in different cities of the country, the most important and those that host the largest number of international students being the following:

Campus in Podgorica

This is the main campus of the University. It is located in the area calledUniverzitetski Centar", which translates to University Campus, and is located west of the centre of Podgorica. It is here that most of the faculties of the institution are taught, so it is composed of a large number of buildings and various facilities.

Campus en Kotor

This beautiful town is home to the Faculty of Maritime Studies of the institution. Its building is located facing the Bay of Kotor, in the Dobrota neighbourhood. It is located very close to the city centre.

Best neighbourhoods to live in near the UCG

These are some of the neighbourhoods preferred by students who are going to study at the institution:

Kruševac (Podgorica)

This neighbourhood is where the University Center is located, which houses the main campus of the University of Montenegro. Because of this, it is one of the best neighbourhoods that you can consider to look for accommodations close to the institution. It has a wide variety of restaurants, bars, shops and nightlife options, so it tends to have a good student atmosphere despite not being the most central area.

Novi Grad (Podgorica)

Novi Grad is the neighbourhood that is located between Kruševac and the centre of Podgorica. This means that it is halfway between the University of Montenegro and the area with the greatest number of cultural sites to visit in the country's capital. Novi Grad also has a large number of restoration sites to enjoy, including restaurants, cafes and bars.

Dobrota (Kotor)

This neighbourhood of the city is located on one of the shores of the Bay of Kotor. It is where the University's Faculty of Maritime Studies is located, making it the closest neighbourhood to the university in this city. It offers stunning views of the mountains and the bay, and is perfect for outdoor activities. In addition, it has easy access to the centre of Kotor to enjoy the different leisure alternatives.
