What you'll need
To send the request you usually only need your details and a payment method. After acceptance, the landlord may ask for an ID or passport and, in some cases, proof of income, enrollment or a guarantor.
Complete your booking on HomeStay
On HomeStay you send the booking request, and you are not charged anything until the landlord confirms. Once accepted, you pay the first month on their platform and you may be asked for an extra document, such as:
- ID card or passport
- Proof of solvency
Come on, move in
Arrange your arrival date, key handover and everything else directly with your landlord. Remember also that most providers transfer your money to the owner only 48 hours after your arrival at the house.

Welcome to our home in Tokyo!
Our house is located in a very convenient and peaceful area in central Tokyo (Shinjuku-ku).
The nearest station is Ochiai-Minaminagasaki, just a 5-minute walk from our home.
From there, you can reach almost anywhere in Tokyo within an hour — making it a perfect base for exploring the city!
Your room will be comfortable and private, with a bed, a desk, and free Wi-Fi access so you can relax or work during your stay.
About our home & family
We are a friendly couple who love meeting people from all over the world.
My husband works in the Japanese music industry, and although he is often busy on weekdays, music is a big part of our life.
We actually met through music while playing in the same amateur band — it’s our special connection!
I am a professional Japanese calligraphy teacher and also work as a voice actress.
I teach around 75 students each week, and if you are interested, I would be very happy to offer you a Japanese calligraphy experience during your stay.

My hobbies are singing, cooking, and nail art — I love sharing these with guests too!
Meet Rita – our lovely companion
We also have a very sweet Cavalier King Charles Spaniel named Rita.
He is gentle, friendly, and loves meeting new people.
If you love dogs, you will definitely enjoy spending time with him — he brings a lot of warmth and happiness to our home.
