Room description
Hello! We are Genevieve (56) and Emily (26), two working artists who share this apartment. Genevieve is from the UK and Emily is Dutch/Lebanese. We met at our fine arts masters study programme, and now live together. We both speak English in the house but understand some Dutch aswell. We are crafty and creative people who like to work in our shared studio space, aswell as enjoy movie nights or dinners together when it suits us. We don't tend to schedule social time and instead allow our interactions to happen spontaneously, and we are looking for someone who enjoys living with others and likes to share spaces, but also enjoys time for themselves. Our apartment is big and we like to keep it tidy and fresh and we are looking for someone who does that quite naturally as well. We aim to not have any kind of cleaning schedule and instead create a shared understanding of the house work load. We share all of the common spaces which includes a working studio, living room, balcony, small laundry room and kitchen. We don't host any big parties, and dont tend to make much noise in the house, but do enjoy having our friends over, and we hope to find someone that enjoys meeting new people and bringing over their own friends aswell. We are laid back people who like to take care of our lovely home, and we are looking for someone who is dedicated to the same; creating a safe and cozy place together where we can relax and be ourselves. Across from us there is an Albert Heijn, Bruna and under us is a Hema. In our street there are various cafe's, bakeries, shops, and bike stores, aswell as a Kruidvat and art shop. We are a queer household and have no interest in anyone who isnt queer-friendly or is discriminative in any way.
