What you'll need

Complete your booking on HomeStay
On HomeStay you send the booking request, and you are not charged anything until the landlord confirms. Once accepted, you pay the first month on their platform and you may be asked for an extra document, such as:

Come on, move in
Arrange your arrival date, key handover and everything else directly with your landlord. Remember also that most providers transfer your money to the owner only 48 hours after your arrival at the house.

Room description

We live in a double story home in Winnipeg Mb, Canada. We have one bedroom on the second floor to rent. Bathroom, kitchen, main floor and bathroom are all available to student in shared capacity. We can provide food or student can purchase food on their own. There are opportunities to participate in Cultural events if the student wishes and I am a teacher familiar with ESL, and can assist with learning English if desired. Our neighbourhood is in Wolseley a ten minute bus ride to University of Winnipeg, Red River college, Daniel McIntyre collegiate, Grant Park Highschool, and Kelvin High school. There is also an opportunity to visit/stay at our Cabin in Kenora Ontario, and participate in fishing, ATV riding, table tennis, swimming, and other events upon request. There are three of us living in our home, husband 63, myself 58 and daughter 22 yrs old. We have three cats, and a large fish aquarium.
The bedroom features single bed that pulls out to a double with drawers underneath, second dresser, closet, work desk with large mirror and walk out balcony.
