San Javier Campus (Sports Sciences)

Located in the municipality of San Javier, on the shores of the Mar Menor, all departments of the Faculty of Sports Sciences are taught at this campus.

Campus de Lorca

Located in the municipality of the same name, approximately an hour away from Murcia by public transport, the Faculty of Socio-Health Sciences of the UMU is located here.

Campus de Cartagena

This campus is located in the city of Cartagena, in the San Ginés neighbourhood. Here you'll find the Faculty of Nursing and the associated centre ISEN, with degrees such as Labour Relations and Human Resources, Early Childhood Education, and Primary Education.

Best neighbourhoods to live in near the UMU

Here are some of the most convenient neighbourhoods to live near the institution:

Murcia City Centre

The neighbourhoods of La Fama, San Lorenzo, and Santa Eulalia are very convenient to live in if you are going to UMU's La Merced Campus. They are also the liveliest neighbourhoods in the city, which will allow you to be close to places for nightlife.

Espinardo and El Ranero

These two neighbourhoods are quieter than the areas mentioned above, but they are ideal if you are going to the Espinardo Campus. However, this area has several affordable dining options, as well as places to play sports, shops, and even a concert hall.

Ensanche and San Ginés (Cartagena)

These two neighbourhoods in Cartagena are ideal for students to live in for several reasons. First, because the UMU Cartagena Campus is in San Ginés, very close to Ensanche. Second, because they are next to the city centre, which means they are close to the leisure spots frequented by young people. Third, because they are very close to Cartagena's main train station, making it easy to travel.
